Ann Marie Allison is a filmmaker who loves telling stories about love and the funny things we do to find it, keep it, and ruin it. In addition to writing feature films for various production companies in Hollywood, Ann Marie co-wrote and EP’d the female buddy comedy, Golden Arm, starring Mary Holland and Betsy Sodaro. The film sits on Rotten Tomatoes coveted “100% Certified Fresh” list and is streaming on HBO. Her romantic comedy short, Lift, won The Audience Choice Award at DC Shorts and was also recognized by Washingtonian Magazine as one of the "Top Ten Best of the Fest." She’s currently in post on her sophomore directing effort, a short film titled Don't Neg Meg, scheduled to release in 2023. The Fabulous Four, a female ensemble comedy she co-wrote with her writing partner, Jenna Milly, stars Susan Sarandon and Bette Midler and is set to begin production this fall.
