Greg Garrett

Greg Garrett has been a panelist and moderator at the Austin Film Festival for more than fifteen years. At the Festival, he has interviewed luminaries such as Lawrence Kasdan, James Hart, Peter Hedges, and Damon Lindelof, and led dozens of conversations on craft, genre, adaptation, and narrative. Himself the author of four acclaimed novels and a number of books on film and culture, Greg also consults with the Festival on grant writing, programming, and the On Story initiative, and curates the Long Long Way race and film festival each February at the National Cathedral in Washington, DC which is co-sponsored by AFF.
