Mike Jones

Mike Jones is the Senior Story and Creative Artist at Pixar Animation Studios. He is the co-writer of SOUL (2020) and LUCA (2021).
Born and raised in South Texas, Jones graduated from NYU. Before Pixar, Jones was a working screenwriter for over 20 years, writing scripts for Columbia, MGM, Warner Bros, HBO and Fox, among others. His original script, IN THE EVENT OF A MOON DISASTER, was featured on the Black List. Jones also wrote the English adaptations of Studio Ghibli's Oscar-nominated films THE WIND RISES and THE TALE OF PRINCESS KAGUYA.
