Robia Rashid is the creator, showrunner and executive producer of the critically acclaimed Netflix series Atypical, which aired its fourth and final season on the streaming service last year. Before creating Atypical, Robia wrote on comedies including Will and Grace, How I Met Your Mother and The Goldbergs. For her work around communities with disabilities, Robia received the “Entertainment Angel” award from the Miracle Project in 2019. She was named by The Hollywood Reporter as one of the “Showrunners to Watch” for 2017. Robia grew up on the East Coast and received her MFA from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
